Activewear for Petite Frames
Most activewear is graded for a 168cm body and scaled down from there, which is how petite frames end up with leggings that bunch at the ankle and shorts that sit halfway to the knee.
- 95% Merino Wool
- Zero Polyester
- OEKO-TEX Certified
- Non-Mulesed
We do not currently cut a dedicated petite length, and we would rather say that than pretend otherwise. What this edit gives you is the pieces in the range that genuinely work on a smaller frame, with the honest detail on how each one falls.
How these actually sit
- Mid Waist 7/8 Leggings. Designed as a 7/8 on an average-height body. Under roughly 5'4" they read as a full-length legging, sitting at the ankle rather than above it. If you have been buying full-length leggings and cuffing them, start here.
- Mid Waisted 4" Shorts. Our shortest inseam. On a shorter thigh a 5" short can sit awkwardly close to the knee, and this is the one that does not.
- Sizes from an AU 4 on the Crossback Bra, Classic Tank, High Waist Full Leggings and High Waisted 5" Shorts.
Sizing notes
Our fit runs slightly snug. Across our exchanges, too small is by far the most common reason for a size swap, so take your usual size and size up if you are between two.
For reference, Emily is 167cm in a size 8 and Mays is 170cm in a size 12.
Petite fit, answered
Do you make a true petite length?
Not yet. The 7/8 legging is the closest thing we have, because on a shorter frame it falls as a full-length legging. If a dedicated petite cut is what you actually want, tell us, because that feedback is what decides what we make next.
What is the smallest size you make?
An AU 4, on the Crossback Bra, High Waist Full Leggings, Mid Waist 7/8 Leggings, Mid Waisted 4" Shorts, High Waisted 5" Shorts and the Classic Tank. The Straight Leg Leggings, Fitted Tee, Long Sleeve Tee and Medium Impact Racerback Bra start at a 6.
