The Edit
Merino Gym & Training Wear
Merino wool gym clothes for women, built for the part of training that synthetics handle worst: heat, sweat, and the smell that outlives both.
- 95% Merino Wool
- Zero Polyester
- OEKO-TEX Certified
- Non-Mulesed
Polyester traps the bacteria that cause odour, which is why gym gear starts to smell permanently after a few months no matter how you wash it. Merino resists that bacteria through its own fibre structure, so a session does not write itself into the fabric.
What to train in
- Bras. The Medium Impact Racerback is our most supportive: thicker underbust band, wide racerback straps, higher coverage. The Crossback is lighter, for lower-impact sessions and wear beyond the gym.
- Bottoms. The High Waisted 5" Short for warm sessions, the High Waist Full Legging for cooler ones. Both sit high and stay there through hinging and squatting.
- Tops. The Classic Tank layers under everything. The Fitted Tee if you want more coverage.
Gym wear, answered
Is merino wool good for the gym?
Yes. Merino moves moisture off the skin instead of holding it there, regulates temperature as you heat up, and resists odour without a chemical finish. It is one of the few natural fibres that holds up under load.
Will merino be too hot to train in?
No. Merino regulates in both directions. It moves heat and moisture away as you warm, which is why it works through an Australian summer as well as a winter.
How often do I have to wash it?
Less often than polyester. Most pieces can be aired and re-worn several times between washes, which is also better for the garment.
What size should I take?
Take your usual size, and size up if you are between two. Across our exchanges, too small is the most common reason for a size swap by a wide margin, so the fit runs slightly snug.
Do you make a high-impact bra?
Not currently. The Medium Impact Racerback is the most supportive bra in the range. There is more detail in our support and coverage edit.
