The Edit
Merino Activewear for Running
Natural fibre running clothes, made from 95% merino wool with no polyester. Built around the three things that actually ruin a run in synthetics: chafe, heat, and the smell that never washes out.
- 95% Merino Wool
- Zero Polyester
- OEKO-TEX Certified
- Non-Mulesed
Why merino for running
- Chafe. Merino moves moisture as vapour before it pools, and ultra-fine fibres sit smooth rather than abrasive, so there is less wet friction at the seams and inner thigh.
- Heat. Merino moves heat away as you warm instead of trapping it, which is what matters in the second half of a run rather than the first.
- Smell. Merino resists odour-causing bacteria naturally. A hard session does not take up permanent residence in the fabric the way it does in polyester.
- No microplastics shed into the wash, and none sitting against your skin while you sweat.
What to run in
The High Waisted 5" Short is the core running piece: high enough to stay put, short enough to stay cool. Pair it with the Crossback Bra for easy runs, or the Medium Impact Racerback when you want a more secure feel. Add the Classic Tank for warm mornings, or the Lightweight Long Sleeve for cold ones.
Running in merino, answered
Won't wool be too hot to run in?
No. Fine merino knitted light is a warm-weather fabric. It regulates in both directions rather than only insulating, which is why it is used in endurance and desert clothing rather than only in winter kit.
Is merino better on long runs?
That is where it separates most. Heat builds and chafe compounds over distance, and merino keeps moving moisture the whole way instead of saturating and then holding it against you.
Do you make a high-impact running bra?
Not currently. Our most supportive is the Medium Impact Racerback, with a thicker underbust band and wide racerback straps. If you need genuine high-impact support, we would rather tell you now. See our support and coverage edit.
What size should I run in?
Your usual size, sized up if you are between two. Across our exchanges, too small is the most common size swap by a clear margin.
