- OEKO-TEX Certified
- Non-Mulesed
Why merino on the mat
- It breathes in a heated room. Merino moves moisture as vapour instead of holding it against you, so a hot class does not turn your leggings into a plastic layer.
- It sits smooth on skin. Ultra-fine fibres and non-cling stretch, which is what you notice when you are on your back, on your side, and folded over.
- It does not hold smell. Practise, air it, practise again.
- No microplastics shedding onto the mat or into the wash.
What to practise in
The High Waist Full Leggings stay put through inversions. The 7/8 Leggings are the warm-weather version. The Crossback Bra is the low-impact bra most people practise in, and the Classic Tank layers over it.
Complete it with our PVC-free cork and natural rubber mat, so the surface you practise on is as low-tox as what you practise in.
Yoga and Pilates, answered
Are merino leggings good for hot yoga?
Yes. Merino handles high heat and heavy sweat better than polyester and will not hold the smell afterwards. Rinse and air after a hot class rather than leaving it in a bag.
Will they go see-through when I fold forward?
The most common cause of stretch-through in any legging is a size too small. Our fit runs slightly snug, so if you are between sizes, size up. Darker colourways such as Caviar give the most coverage.
Is merino quiet enough for a reformer studio?
Yes. Merino has none of the slick, squeaking quality that coated synthetics get against a vinyl carriage.
Can I wear it straight from Pilates to the rest of the day?
That is most of the reason people buy it. Merino does not hold odour, so a morning class does not commit you to going home to change.
